Lemmo Architecture & Design

"Maraca Bench"

Gus Bernal: Film+Photo+Education was hired by Lemmo Architecture & Design as the professional photographer to document the Wishbone Bridge "Maraca Benches" project for an award submission.

The City of Austin and The Trail Conservancy collaborated with Lemmo to develop a significant part of the bridge. Located in the vibrant, multicultural east side of Austin, the bench design for the Longhorn Dam Bridge reflects the rich diversity of the community and the surroundings.

This collaboration led to the 2026 AIA Austin Design Award of Merit
